Hello 2016

11 more hours to 2016. Time flies huh.

2015 was indeed full of lessons and blessings.

I got into SCDF, it's been a year now working as a Paramedic which I've been wanting to do, serving the government as a regular. Of course, there's ups and downs before and after joining the force. On a brighter note, Alhamdulillah for all that I have now. :)

2015 is also the year where I met my other half. The one who gave me a chance to love again and believe in destiny, the one who proved that not all men are the same, the one who showed me genuine love and affection. Lastly, the one who took care of me, respect and accept me for who I am. If not, I'd still be single till today I guess hahaha. Well, everything happens for a reason. Jodoh, pertemuan dan ajal maut semua di tangan Tuhan. I believe and accept whatever tests that will be given in time to come. No matter where it leads us, I will always pray that our relationship remains up to the end. InsyaAllah amin :)

Before we leave, I am more happy to welcome the new year with open arms. I am all ready for whatever obstacles and challenges ahead. Hopefully with my parent's blessings and prayers, I will achieve my dreams.

LOL
I wish you all a happy new year and a blessed 2016!

Thank you 2015 for all the bitter sweet memories! xoxo

It's my best girl wedding!
#firdausfarhanah

Selamat pengantin baru my #bucuk4life! Don't ask why and how we got that hashtag name since the first day we knew each other. hehe.

I got to know Farhanah from NUH, she's working as a Public Relations Officer and I always sent cases there. I remembered one time when it was her first day in NUH I kept staring at her cause of her beauty. Haha don't get me wrong. I was just admiring Allah's creation. So one day we decided to approach each other and it's really cool that we can get along very well easily especially when it comes to gossiping! lol So day after day months after months, we started exchanging numbers, add each other on social media, planned an outing together. So yeah! hehe.

It's been a year and now she's married. Alhamdulillah I am so happy for you! May your marriage with your husband, Firdaus last till forever. InsyaAllah Ameen ameen allahumma ameen. Enjoy your honeymoon in Vegas and make lots of babies ok!

SENTOSA

So every year, It's SCDF family day this month. I got a discounted ticket to the Sentosa funpass. If you're single, you will be entitled to only 2 tix. Married will be entitled to 4 tix. If I were to buy total for my whole family, that will be 14 of us. But I had to like ask those people who are not going and since its fully booked, I managed to get 4 tix only. Anw, you don't have to wait till december for a family day right? :)

Since we got the DAY FUN PASS PLAY3, me and bf decided to go to SEA AQUARIUM, LUGE&SKYRIDE and 4D ADVENTURELAND-EXTREME LOG RIDE.

Oh and another friend of ours went to the Seabreeze water sports and they get to kayak. I didn't know that there was kayaking! If only I knew! :(((

There are other options too. You can choose up as many attractions you want to go. Play FUNPASS 5 and Play FUNPASS up to all 20 attractions. Visit their website www.sentosa.com.sg for enquiries.

Ended the day being all tired, cranky and hungry. But I had a great time spent with "the usuals"(k it's an inside joke and only some will understand hehe) To many more outings together again!

Till then, xoxo ^^

HongKong 2015

Salam everyone!

Hongkong was okay I guess haha. Its just that, I will never go back there for a holiday again but Disneyland is exceptional. hehehe. So where do I start?

Day1

Reached hk international airport at 0930hrs. Touchdown feeling so hungry and I forgot we are in a country which is difficult to find a halal food around. Met the tour guide there and bought the package for disneyland and ocean park for me and my bestfriend, Nadiah. Then off we go to the hotel, checked in and I was super shocked with the hotel environment, the rooms and etc. It wasn't like what I imagined before we arrived hahaha. I shall not say much but Alhamdulillah for the stay even though it wasn't even a 1 star hotel LOL. Oh btw, this hk trip was a package Nadiah's mom got from groupon. So lesson learnt, when looking for affordable package... Please check the hotel reviews and also the condition of the hotel rooms ahhh. :)

So this is the one. I think our budget hotels in Singapore is 100times better than this.
Oh and we have our tanjong pagar PSA view there. LOL.
Hotel name is Rambler Oasis located at 1 Tsing Yi Rd, Hongkong.

So after settling our stuff, freshened up and changed, we had our lunch at an Indian cuisine restaurant located in Tsim Sha Sui. It was about 6-8 stations from the place we are staying. We didn't took the MTR(MRT) but we took the cab there instead since we are not yet familiarise with their train  system. I had nasi biryani but it doesn't taste like biryani at all. Since we are so hungry, tak cerewet lah. besides, its really so difficult to find halal food nearby. It was raining heavily on the first day so we didn't explore much. After lunch, we headed down to MongKok. It's a place where they had Ladies Market, Sneakers Street and etc. This time, we decided to take their MTR since it's just 4 stops away from Tsim Sha Sui. Their MTR looks exactly like ours here but their train system is more confusing and complicated. They have blue, red, green, yellow and different colours have different names and obviously I can't remember the names haha. Like ours, east west line, circle line, downtown line etc.

It was still raining in Mongkok. Walked through ladies market for like an hour. One thing about hk, it's very expensive. I bought souvenirs for like $40. And it's only keychains, pens and the fridge magnet. No wonder a friend of mine from china said, "you bring $1,000 not enough" This explains. haha. So singaporeans, don't complain and say it's very expensive here. Please go to hongkong okay, it's almost the same.

So after walking through the whole stretch of the market, me and Nadiah headed down to Wan Chai to have our dinner. Her family decided to go back to the hotel to rest and we get dinner for them instead. Since we wanted to have halal dimsum, we managed to find the place after walking for more than 3km. We got lost on our way there and its not easy to travel with your always cranky bestfriend okay. hahaha. Thank god for our wifi router, with the help of GPS also.

This is where they served Halal dimsum and other halal dishes.
40, Oi Kwan Rd. Nearby MTR station, Wan Chai.

Unfortunately, they serve dimsum only from 10am-3pm. I just had their mee goreng instead and Nadiah had her crispy fried noodles. We tapao-ed some dishes to bring back to the hotel. It was 8plus already and we planned to get home by train but both of our legs are screaming for help hahaha. I was running here and there just to get a cab. There's so many taxi around but all was hired. The funny thing is, you can just flag a cab anywhere and everywhere even in the middle of the road as and when you like. The cab fare cost us almost $30++. Yes, our hotel is far from the city area.

Day 2

Woke up at 7am. Since we were told that the bus will fetch us at 0930hrs to disneyland. I got very excited and looking forward to meet Elsa, Anna and Olaf only. hahahaha.

Okay the entrance fee for Disneyland is 535 HKG dollars which is $97.40. We paid for the whole day package with bus to and fro but without meal is 680 HKG dollars which is $123+ dollars. Idk if it's a big difference or not but I think even if we didn't take the package, we will still spent the same for the public transport. plus minus here and there. Besides, we took the whole day package till 8.30pm. So yeah. 10hrs walking around disneyland is tiring okay haha.

We queued for photo session with Mickey & Minnie almost 2hrs right after we entered haha. Otherwise, its all fine. Queue-ing for elsa and anna doesn't take me more than 30 mins also haha. Obviously, its very crowded especially its the holiday period and kids are everywhere. Me and nadiah went to their souvenir shops. OMG their plush toys, t-shirts, keychains, dolls, pillows, chocolates etc etc etc and since I'm a frozen freak, it's everywhere too. I love DISNEYLAND! Oh and their price is affordable if you bring a lot of cash with you, if not suck thumb only lah. hahahaha. Of course it's expensive, what do you expect right. It's the same as how tourist come to USS and say "wahh very expensive ah" lol

We spent more time at their Fantasy Land where all those disney princess will come out for photo sessions. Sadly, we didn't manage to get one with cinderella, princess belle and princess aurora because they are nowhere to be found. BUTTTTTTTTT I"VE GOT MINE WITH ELSA, ANNA AND OLAF! HE HE HE HE HE HE

STARSTRUCK! HE HE

OLAF IS SUPER ADORABLE TOO!
I also took their video to say some wishes for my nieces in Spore who is also a big fan of Frozen.
Elsa is so pretty, I'm melting. AHHHHHHHHH
Will upload the videos soon. :)

They have thrilling rides too. My dearest Nadiah forced me to take this "viking" kind of roller coaster but it's much worser than viking. I don't know how to describe it but if I'm able to upload the video, you will know what I mean. My heart stopped for a moment when it went up all the way 90 degrees and then down again and 90 degrees backward fall again and then went up again 90 degrees. Oh wells, things I do for my bestfriend. There are other fun rides too but since we only found out nearly at the end of the day, both of us were too tired to try the rest.

At about 8pm everyone gathers around the centre of Disneyland for the final parade and fireworks. It was really crowded at that time. We managed to watch the parade for the last time but we didn't manage to catch the fireworks fully due to time constraint and we should blame the tour guide for giving us wrong info about the fireworks timing. :/ So all of us was rushing out to the carpark for our bus. It was 9pm already. Lucky, we had our dinner first before we headed home. No, there is no nearest shop or even 711 at our hotel area so we better fill up our tummy before we get starve.

Day 3

So it's ocean park time. Okay, short and sweet. It wasn't as fun as Disneyland. I don't know why. Ocean park is like our Escape theme park, full of rides and all those animal show thingy. Maybe because me and nadiah was very shagged from disneyland or we just don't enjoy their rides there. Yes we took a few roller coaster rides there but beside that, nothing is interesting. And for the very first time in my life, I was told to take off my hijab before taking the Flying Swing. I wasn't told to take it off before taking the other roller coaster with upside down turn but for this I am very confuse.

Something similar like this in Genting, nothing flew off. -_-

I took this THERE, nothing flew off too. WEIRDDDDDDD

Nadiah was so angry and she goes like "take off this? NO CANNOT!" hahahahaha but instead they gave me an option to wear a raincoat, put on the hood and tie it tightly. I mean like what's the point. hahahaha. Took another roller coaster, they gave me a raincoat to wear too but did not say much like I have to take off my hijab bla bla. I got no choice but to just wear it eventhough I look like an idiot. Ended up, both of us regretted taking the roller coaster till it caused us to have very bad headache. What a memories. haha.

We went off right after our lunch there. Took their cable car to the entrance cause it's quite a distance to travel down back. Do not take their cable car if you are strictly afraid of heights. You've been warned. hahaha. Nadiah is scared of height so what she did was just sit down quietly and hold the pole like a statue. lol. If you've been to genting highlands, yes it's similar.

So both of us still thinking of where to go after that. It was only 1pm. Suddenly, Nadiah suggested to go Madame Tussauds and I agreed. Oh for this ocean park package, we didn't stay till the whole day. We decided to be adventurous and go on free & easy! hahaha. Took their shuttle bus to Causeway Bay MTR station. Me and nadiah thought it was free so we just went up selamba-ly and the bus driver was like speaking in cantonese or chinese telling us to pay and we go like "oh ingatkan free" hahaha. I forgot how much was the fare but since we are using their Octopus Card(ezlink card), it doesn't really matter anyway. From causeway bay stn we were told to take the train to Central then take a cab to THE PEAK and that's where Madama Tussauds is. So we took a cab from Central and we thought it's just nearby but not. The peak is really up the hill and mountain, really at it's PEAK! hahahaha. Reached there and it was freezing cold compared to other places. Oh btw, Hongkong is not as cold as korea or japan. If you can take aircon temperature then it should be fine.

Madame Tussauds was fun. They have more Will upload the pictures soon in fb. And some sneak peak here. hehe

My crazy bestfriend with Lady Gaga lol

So lastly, we had our dinner at this Indonesian Restaurant which served Ayam penyet and stuff. Also took us some time to get there. But the journey was worth it! We can be a hong-ky! hahaha.

Iced lemon tea and Iced Chendol in HONGKONG!
HEAVEN!!!
Day 4

It's our last day. We had to check out by 12 but our flight was scheduled at 9.40pm. So we spent our last day to get our dimsum cravings fulfilled and also shopping at Mongkok again.

I might consider HongKong for another trip InsyaAllah but with better accommodation of course and also to plan my itinerary before going back there again. Honestly, I enjoyed Disneyland the most!

Wedding bells

So over the weekends, I went across the border with my family for my cousin sister wedding day.

I had a great time meeting my relatives from maternal side. All grown up. My cousin sister is 21 and she's already married. We used to grow up together when we were younger, we played masak2 together. During my younger days, my parents often went to JB to visit her family. Oh how much I missed those days.

All the questions from my aunt "bila nak kahwin?" Who would have known kan? She met her soulmate first. Alhamdulillah I am so happy for her, a big girl now. Your late dad must be proud of you now. Al-fatihah.

Kak aisha will always pray for your happiness. Be a good wife to your husband and InsyaAllah your marriage will last till jannah. Ameen allahumma ameen.

If you notice this picture, there's a long story behind those crampy smile haha

Alhamdulillah, I'm blessed. =)

Oh I did a video of her wedding day, you can view it in my fb. I can't upload it to vimeo cause the size is too big. hehehe. here's the link https://www.facebook.com/nur.aisha.37669/videos/799435743534898/?l=983771563924399191

Kaw Kaw Sg

So here's the promise to blog about Kaw Kaw Sg.

Kaw Kaw Sg is a Halal Cafe which served western food like burgers, steak, pastas and more.
They are located at 28 Aliwal St just right beside Eat,Play,Love. Just FYI, their sign board was hang outside the cafe but not right the the door. So if you walk in shelter, you won't be able to see the sign.

Ok, so what we had.

I had their Chicken Steak and hot chocolate. My bf had some turkey bacon beef kind of burger with nachos and vanilla latte. We also ordered chicken wings for bites. Bf claimed that the turkey bacon was kind of burnt. Nachos was slightly soggy but still edible haha. My chicken steak was well cooked I love it, but the black pepper sauce was quite salty. My steak was served with potato wedges and veggies at the sides. Hot chocolate was nice. Not too sweet and thick. The chicken wings has this weird taste like honey, I didn't quite like it. It will be better if it were to be spicy. heh heh heh.

OH YES! When they served us our hot drinks, it came along with a small biscuit. I think its to dip in our drinks lah annnddddddddd the biscuit turn out so good! I even ask my bf if it was for free because I want more of it hahahaha.

Afterall, Alhamdulillah. We thought of having desserts but both of us were full already. hahaha. I saw reviews saying the pastas are nice. Pricing was affordable, cost will be in the range of less than 30 bucks.

I totally love the environment, it was spacious and comfortable. Not crowded. They have a small stage and live jamming too.

So let the pictures do the talkings? hehe

That's the chicken wings I'm talking about, 6 pcs for $6.50 if I'm not wrong.

Kononnya candid. hehe

That's my bf's burger and the nachos!

That's my chicken steak!

Someone's super hungry! hehe

To many more cafe hunting togethaaaa XoXo

Wet wednesday

So it's the year end and rainy season is here already....

Yesterday was my 1st off day and I had some plans for our belated monthsary but due to unforeseen circumstances... I have to cancel it off. Oh wells, sometimes things don't go as how we planned right?

We are supposed to meet at 3 but the man was stucked at hougang due to the weather when he was otw to fetch me. I didn't want to wait so I took a cab to meet him over at yio chu kang. It was raining heavily, I can't even see the road clearly when I was in the cab.

Reached YCK and it was still raining. What makes it worse was I'm having cramps! But my bf was being such a sweetheart, he told me some good news! hehehe. Ok so guess how long we waited till the rain stops? Nevermind hais.... and bf kept asking me whether to just go even if its drizzling or leave the bike at YCK and took the train instead? I told him ok let's take the train but since I was rushing for time I changed my mind and just go je? It was still drizzling but moderate. I thought it was a good idea but no, we got drenched while otw to bugis. hahahaha.

The moment we reached, he said this...
"Can promise me one thing b? Please don't make me ride in the rain again?"
And I felt so so bad for making him ride in the rain, AGAIN. Should have just take the train eh.
Sorry sweetheart! :(

Both of us was famished. Didn't have anything since morning. So we had our brunchner at Kaw Kaw Sg. I was planning to have our lunch at The Royals actually but nevermind, next time!

Kaw Kaw Sg was nice. Will blog about it soon ok!

I wanted to go to Coney Island after lunch but once we reached bugis it was already near to 7pm. Hais. But despite being moody and all wet, you know nothing can go wrong when you're with your loved one. =)

"There's always next time kan? Our love is not only for 1 day sayang" Hais.
Always very positive this one.

Till then!

My happiness

9 months ago, I met someone. A guy whom I didn't expect to fall in love with.

Im not showing off to the world or in social media who is he. I just love talking about our love story cause its obviously my favourite! hehe

So........
How do we met?
I met him while I was having some debriefing in Civil Defence Academy for #ExerciseNS9 (maybe those who r in the home team, this might sound familiar to you). He was still serving NS back then. Not literally met but saw him there. He claimed it was "love at the first sight" immediately when he saw me eeee geli lol.

So both of us were involved in the same event during that period of time. We had our first rehearsal at Sports Hub and I saw him again but this time, we smiled at each other. Then, we had to gather at some place and coincidence, he was stationed right infront of where I'm at. Orang tua tua kata, kalau jodoh takkan kemana. hahahahaha. Along the way, I wasn't really paying attention to him until his nsf mate came and approach me to ask for my number. I was being very judgy and I called him "typical mat" lol.

At the end of the rehearsal, I was walking towards the exit of sports hub and suddenly I felt someone was tapping my back. I turned and it was him. Hahaha. I was shocked and he went like "i was wondering if we could exchange numbers?" i think he said that haha my reply was "ahhh i think it's okla" PAUSE "maybe you can have my IG?" LOL (nervous eh time ni, tak tau kenape)

So that night, he texted me in IG. Jadilah, daripada takde. hahahaha

Frankly speaking, I wasn't looking for anyone to settle down with during that period. I mean, if ada jodoh with anyone ada lah if not then it's ok. Yes I do talked to guys in fb at times but it was just like "hi, thanks for accepting, hi how r you, hi hope to hear from you soon" kind of convo. And people come and go. So I told myself, this guy won't be long. hahaha

But he proved me wrong. haha. Initially, he was very annoying and yes I'm not interested with him actually lagi2 not my type hahaha. But as days passes by, we get to know each other and surprisingly we get along very well, share lots of things in common. Plus point, he's really good at making me laugh with his stupid jokes and in between I fell in love. I never know what lies in the future for us but there's so many things to look forward with you.

Love really works wonders, it doesn't need to be perfect but it just need to be true. :)
InsyaAllah amin!

Thank you for being such a sweetheart, always. ˆˆ

25th

My confidante. 💑

The above picture was taken during my 25th birthday surprise. It was all planned by my one and only bestfriend, Nadiah. Why I was dressed in all shades of blue? Because it was a frozen theme kind of birthday. hahahaha. Sometimes people might wonder, 25 yrs old or 5 yrs old? Well, there's always a kid in everyone. I love the movie frozen since it was out I think last yr? I love everything about it. I have frozen bed sheets, hp casing, water bottle, pillows and many more. And before the surprise was plan, I actually gave a hint to Nadiah that I want a frozen Elsa cake for my birthday hahahaha. no shame ah.

The surprise was actually an advance celebration. A week before the actual day. I was clueless by what is gonna do on that day and who's gonna be there. So a day before, she told me to meet her at expo MRT station at 4pm. That was the only instruction given. I was so curious, I googled what hotel could be nearby that area and I found out it was Capri by Fraser. Haha. So okay I knew it's gonna be a staycation. Obviously, I thought this celebration is gonna be like between the two of us only cause I don't have many friends you see and being with my bff only is already like being with 10 people around haha. And also, my dearest bf told me way before that he had to go to his grandma's place and so I did not suspect anything fishy. He told me to "have fun during the party".

Reached expo MRT. Nadiah fetched me at Changi City Point, walked to the hotel. Once we reached the lobby, I was told to put on my ear piece and on my songs from the phone. I got blindfolded and jeng jeng jeng. The moment I entered the room obviously I didn't hear anything. So ear piece off, blindfold off, suddenly that frozen song came...... with a frozen cake infront of me!!!! I was so happy to see the cake and the decorations done by her!

So I turned behind because I was facing the tv and the wall, I heard a familiar voice saying "Assalamualaikum!!"
Guess who? It was my bf!!! He appeared out of nowhere from the toilet dressing up as ELSA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Literally with the dress, cape and the wig. I was totally surprised the moment i see him in the room and started laughing. Another good friend of mine, Faiz.. he was hiding behind the curtain and was actually recording my reaction throughout. hahaha.

I started whining and shouting why is my bf dressed as Elsa, who ask him to dress in that thing. Nadiah told me it was all his idea. Kononnya nk jade mascot la. Hahahaha. We took pictures cause I don't want to miss the moments before he change to his own clothes back. He was so calm and so sporting on this. If it's not because of my birthday, I don't think he would want to wear that haha.

Oh no no no, his pictures are not allowed to be posted on any social media. TOP SECRET. hahahaha.

It was the most memorable birthday ever. Thank you to them for making it happened. And finally, my dream to have a frozen theme birthday party came true! Alhamdulillah I'm blessed! 👰🏼

THE CAKE 😍

A year older, A year wiser! InsyaAllah :)
