Salam beautiful ladies & gentlemen. This post is gonna be about different types of cheap and affordable nice cafe's in Singapore that I've been to. So to couples or friends out there who is still hunting for one, you may consider :)
1) Penny University
Location: 402 East Coast Rd, 428997
Oh yes, it's far from where I'm staying. Not recommended for those who live in the west but once in a lifetime why not. I had butt cramps while sitting on my bf's motorbike cause we had to travel from west to east literally. And he did not tell me where are we going on that day cause it was meant to be a surprise. I was like, "where is he going?why so far?when are we reaching?" hahahaha.

Love the environment, quiet and cosy. Staffs were friendly. Unfortunately, we came late for their brunch and sandwiches menu as their kitchen closed at 4pm. So me and bf had their waffles with ice cream instead. I ordered their thai iced tea for my drinks and I'm loving it!

Look at that "can't wait to eat you" face. I was so hungry and didn't had anything for lunch.
Definitely gonna come by again to try their sandwiches!
2) Sunday Folks
Location: 44 Jalan Merah Saga, #01-52 Chip Bee Gardens
Nearest Mrt Station: Holland Village
Came here with a girlfriend of mine, Hana. She's the one who recommended me good and nice cafe's.
And I will for sure come back to this place again. Here's why.
Their waffles Ice cream is to die for! I ordered their belgian waffle with summer strawberries ice cream on top with honey and chocolate syrup around it! I wanted to have marshmallows for the toppings but it contains gelatine in it and the staffs was too kind and honest for letting us muslims know of what should not be eaten. Thumbs up!
My gf had waffles too with salted gula melaka ice cream and it tasted like chendol! so nice! And their waffles are so soft! I think I found another favourite waffle place beside gelare! hehe. They had variety of cakes to choose but mostly contains rum in it especially the nicest looking one. Saw a review saying the place was too noisy and crowded. It wasn't when we came in the afternoon but it was in the later part around 7pm onwards? But I'm gonna come again for their waffles! hehehe.

Oh and they have like "water cooler" kind of place to refill your water whenever you want. And their cup is too cute! hehe
